Piano Scholarships / Graduate Assistantships
Piano Scholarships
Entering freshmen pianists auditioning
at SFA may be eligible for scholarship assistance:
-
School of Music piano scholarships: up to $10,000
-
Top 10% of graduating class: an additional $1,000 per year
-
Top 25% of graduating class: an additional $500 per year
-
Junior college students transferring to SFA with at least 45
transferable credit hours could be eligible for an academic scholarship
of up to $2,000 per year in addition to a piano scholarship awarded
through an audition.

While a student at SFA, a pianist
may be awarded additional scholarship money of a meritorious nature.

Graduate Assistantships
Graduate piano assistantships at SFA
are offered in the following areas:
- Class piano teaching
- Accompanying
- Jazz ensemble
A full-time stipend is presently $6,100 per
year.
