TUITION AND FEE POLICIES
Payment Option #1
Tuition and fees paid in full prior to first lesson/class.
Payment Option #2
Half (50%) of tuition and fees paid prior to first lesson/class. A $5 payment plan fee is assessed with the first payment. The balance must be paid on or before the second week of October during the fall semester and on or before the second week of March during the spring semester.
Application Fee
$5 assessed each new student. If the student drops out for one semester or longer, the fee will be assessed again.
Family Discount
A tuition reduction is awarded to families with more than one child enrolled in private lessons. The amount of $40 will be subtracted from the total tuition/supply fees.
Credit Cards
Tuition and Fees may be charged and utilized for either payment option. The registration form must be completed with appropriate information.
No Refunds
Tuition is non-refundable.
Scholarships
Partial tuition scholarships are available. Applications must be returned for committee review by August 1st. Recipients will be notified prior to beginning of classes/lessons. Contact the Music Prep Office for information: 936.468.1291.

Lessons and classes may be attended by students who are current in their payments. Registration forms must be returned to the Music Prep Office, Room 150A, or the SFA School of Music Office, Room 150, Tom and Peggy Wright Music Building, or mail to:

Registration forms must be returned or mailed prior to the first scheduled lesson/class. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amercian Express and Discover cards.
