The
Lumberjack Marching Band is one of the largest student organizations
on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. Composed of
more than 200 students representing more than 30 academic majors,
the LMB is an integral part of campus life.
From
performances at all Lumberjack football games at Homer
Bryce Stadium to select away games and exhibitions, the LMB is
active throughout the fall.
The
LMB performs three to four shows yearly in a variety of different
styles including jazz, Latin, classical and rock, to name a few.
Additionally, the Lumberjack Marching Band is one of the only college
marching bands in the nation to march both the traditional military
style as well as current corps style.
In
fact, the only thing the Lumberjack Marching Band lacks is YOU! So
come be a part of "The Boldest Sound from the Oldest Town,"
one of the many great traditions at Stephen F. Austin State University.
