Interested students are also given the opportunity to learn set construction, costuming, and lighting along with singing in the productions. Performances are held in the modern 1,000-seat Turner Auditorium and in other venues on- and off-campus. The opera theatre produces a full-length major opera each spring and usually several offerings each year during the popular SFA Summer Opera program.
