East Texas Honors Orchestra
November 17 & 18, 2006

The East Texas Honor Orchestra (ETHO) is a regional orchestra offering advanced high school string students the opportunity to play in a full orchestra setting with winds and percussion from Stephen F. Austin State University School of Music. The two-day weekend clinic offers full orchestra rehearsals, sectionals and fun acitivities for players to make new friends.

The mission of ETHO is to provide a high calibur performance experience in a full orchestra setting. The goal is to nurture the continuing desire to learn classical music and the art of great orchestral playing. The ETHO embodies the tradition of professionalism and excellence in aspiration that the muscians take those experiences and make an impact upon their respective programs.
