Band Camp Auditions
Auditions are held on registration day at each week of the Summer Band Camps.
You will receive a copy of the band camp audition music* for your grade level and instrument when you receive your receipt. You may also download it from the following choices from this website and then print them from your computer. Be sure you are selecting the proper grade level (for school next fall) and the correct instrument. Students may feel free to play an additional selection at the auditions if they desire.

10th-12th Grade Auditions:
At the SFA High School Band Camp, students entering the 10th-12th grades audition on the all-region tryout etudes from the current school year. You may audition over either TMEA or ATSSB etudes. If you did not audition this year, see your band director as soon as possible to get a list of the etudes. SFA Band Camp does not supply this music as they are published and copyrighted. 10th-12th grade campers who are not from Texas may audition on any music you feel will show off your best playing, either exercises or solos which show your tone and your technique. All students may perform an additional selection at the auditions if they desire.
